Kashi Ashram is an interfaith spiritual community founded in 1976 by Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati, their guru who passed in 2012. The teachings of Kashi Ashram are based on kindness, compassion and service, embracing the sacred practices of many traditions. With roots in Hindu philosophy, the teaching exemplifies the ideal that all paths followed with a pure heart lead to one’s own God within.

Kashi Ashram embraces all people without distinction as to religion, race, color, creed or sexual orientation. Kashi Ashram is committed to inter-religious and interfaith dialogue, envisioning a world in which all are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. Anyone from any religion, or no religion, is welcome to participate and find the depth in his or her individual spiritual path. If anything, the ‘religion’ of Kashi Ashram is one of kindness.

This was wonderful! I feel this captured the essence of Kashi in a very fair and loving way. I'm so happy at how it turned out! Even being familiar with Kashi, the visuals are spectacular. The story is told in such a way that you take the viewer thru a journey and create a yearning to go see it for yourself. I wish you great success with the rest of your series. Looking forward to every episode!

I cannot think of a more beautiful place to land one's energy than the intentional series. Exquisitely crafted, eloquently rendered, this episode drew me into the spirit of place in a way that has me wondering whether this lifestyle might be the way of the future. At a time when our world is threatened by fear and division, the director weaves another way for all of us, with subtlety and with living stories that breathe. A must see!
